Inventor
Inventor is a 3D mechanical software developed to create 3D digital prototypes. This software enables it's users to make accurate models to scale. It also helps to aid in designing, visualizing and simulating products before they are built. Many people around the world use this program to help make their ideas come true.

Recipe for Widget 3
Step 1: To start the build I choose the XY plane.
Step 2: Then I drew a 1x1 square.
Step 3: I bring the box out 1 inch to make a 1x1 cube
Step 4: Cut out two .125x.25 inch rectangles that are on opposite sides from each other. Making sure that they are both .25 inches from the top of the cube.
Step 4 final: This is what it will look like at the end of step 4. You should have two cut outs that are the same on both sides.
Step 5: Cut out a .25x.5 rectangle at the bottom of the cube.
Step 6: Make a triangle at the to in the middle. Making sure that the bottom point of the triangle in .5 inches away form the sides and .25 away from the top. Then make the two ends of the triangle, that are on the top, .25 inches away from each side.
Step 6: Make a triangle at the to in the middle. Making sure that the bottom point of the triangle in .5 inches away form the sides and .25 away from the top. Then make the two ends of the triangle, that are on the top, .25 inches away from each side.
Step 7: The final step is to cut out the triangle in step 6. This will be the final step.

Overall I have to say that this introductory was very fun and helping. I think that I can now manage myself in inventor. Before this introductory I had no clue what I was doing, now I know the basics of how to 3D model in inventor. I have learned for me, starting with a cube and cutting out what you don't need is the easier way to do it. And finally I have learned how to use the 3D machines to make my model.
